Dillon City Hall

Dillon City Hall Historic District

The City Hall building was built in 1914. The ground where the building sits was purchased from David Robb for $4,450. It was designed by renowned architect Fred R. Willson and built by contractor William Reed. Construction began in April 1914 and was completed in November 1914 for a total of about $40,000, which include the purchase of the land, architectural fees and construction costs. The building originally housed the Police Magistrate and Police Lockup, Fire Department, Water Commissioner and offices of the City. The grand ballroom has been used throughout the years for various events, including dances, heavy weight boxing, fund raising and public speeches.

Come see us in person.
