City Court Clerk

The City of Dillon is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clerk of Court to join our team. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our court system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and accurately record criminal files.

  • Communicate effectively with defendants, attorneys, and service providers.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all court participants.

  • Perform clerical duties to support court operations.

  • Organize and prioritize tasks to maintain a well-functioning courtroom.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older.

  • Hold a high school diploma or GED.

  • Successfully pass a background check.

  • 2-3 years of previous work experience (preferred).

  • Must be able to travel occasionally for training purposes.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
